Former Jigawa State Governor Sule Lamido has declared that no right-thinking Northerner will vote for President Tinubu in 2027.
Speaking during the PDP expanded caucus meeting in Dutse, Lamido said Nigerians have endured poverty, insecurity, and deceit under APC.
He accused Tinubu’s administration of worsening the nation’s hardship, stressing that betrayal and insensitivity define APC’s leadership style since 2015.
Lamido recalled that during Tinubu’s tenure as Lagos governor, Northerners were maltreated, attacked, and killed without accountability.
He stressed that despite warnings, Nigerians allowed Tinubu to manipulate his way with money during the controversial 2023 elections.
According to him, respected regional groups such as ACF, Ohanaeze, and Afenifere never endorsed Tinubu’s presidential ambition last year.
Lamido said No Northerner Will Vote Tinubu in 2027. stressing that it would be unfortunate for any Northerner, whether governor, minister, or lawmaker, to back Tinubu’s reelection.
He urged Nigerians to unite across religious, regional, and political divides, stressing only unity could rescue Nigeria from Tinubu’s leadership.
Finally, Lamido expressed optimism that with current developments in the PDP, the party could soon return to stability and strength.
