The Senior Political Assistant to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Demola Olarewaju, has hinted how President Bola Tinubu will lose the 2027 presidential election.
Olarewaju stated that if Atiku and former President Goodluck Jonathan run for the presidency on different platforms in 2027, Tinubu will lose the election.
Featuring on Mic On podcast on Saturday, Olarewaju said Jonathan would get people’s support if he wins a competitive primaries.
He said, “If Goodluck Jonathan can come into the primaries and contest in a competitive primaries and he wins, we all will support him.”
Asked if Jonathan runs on the platform of the PDP and Atiku runs on ADC platform, what happens to Tinubu, he said, “APC loses. The APC will have no base in the (2027 election) if Jonathan runs on the PDP and Atiku or someone else runs in the ADC.”
He also stressed that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is no longer a force in national politics.
“The PDP no longer the force it once was and no longer has the drive, the PDP today has become a mere vehicle to satisfy ethnic desires.
“I think the PDP has lost national relevance, I think the PDP will still remain a force in certain states but as far as National politics is concern, the PDP is no longer fit for purpose,” he said.
