Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Rivers for their

unwavering support amidst the ongoing crisis in the state. Fubara made the remarks during the inauguration of the

rehabilitated Fire Service Station at Rumuodomaya, Obio-Akpo Local Government Area.

The governor emphasized that the support of the people is a source of strength and motivation for him to continue

serving the state. He assured the people that his administration will continue to do what is right and prioritize their

interests.

Fubara also used the opportunity to call for an end to the ongoing crisis in the state, saying that it is giving Rivers a

bad name. He urged the people to emulate the example of Lagos State, where politicians can resolve their differences

amicably.

The governor’s call for peace and unity was echoed by the Special Guest of Honour, Chief Hanny Woko, who

commended Fubara for his efforts to develop the state despite the challenges. Woko urged the people of Rivers to

support the governor and work towards a peaceful resolution to the crisis.

Fubara administration has been facing opposition from some lawmakers in the state, who have been critical of his

policies. However, the governor has remained committed to his vision for the state and has continued to implement

projects and programs aimed at improving the lives of the people.

The inauguration of the rehabilitated Fire Service Station is one of the latest projects to be completed by the Fubara

administration. The project is aimed at enhancing the state’s emergency response capabilities and protecting the

lives and property of the people.

that he is working in their best interests. Despite the challenges, the governor remains optimistic about the future of

the state and is working tirelessly to ensure that it reaches its full potential.

The ongoing crisis in Rivers State has had a significant impact on the state’s economy and social fabric. However,

with the support of the people and the efforts of the Fubara administration, there is hope that the state can overcome

its challenges and emerge stronger and more united.

Fubara’s expression of gratitude to the people of Rivers and his call for an end to the crisis is a testament to his

commitment to the state and its people. As the governor continues to work towards a peaceful resolution to the

crisis, the people of Rivers remain hopeful that their state will emerge from its challenges stronger and more united

than ever.
