Joe Igbokwe Criticizes Tinubu’s Government, Claims Nigeria’s Future Leaders Are Yet to Come

Joe Igbokwe, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has voiced serious concerns about the current state of Nigeria, stating that the leaders needed to truly rescue the country have not yet been born.

His remarks come at a time when food prices, particularly rice, are skyrocketing across the nation, exacerbating the struggles faced by many citizens.

In a recent Facebook post, Igbokwe highlighted the alarming rise in the cost of basic food items, revealing that a bag of rice now cost over ₦100,000.

This sharp increase has sparked outrage and frustration among Nigerians, many of whom are already grappling with the rising cost of living.

Igbokwe questioned why the country, which boasts numerous rice mills, is still facing such challenges. “With all the rice mills we have in Nigeria, my wife just told me that a bag of rice is now over ₦100,000,” he wrote, emphasizing the disconnect between local production capacity and market prices.

Igbokwe, known for his unwavering support of President Bola Tinubu, has recently begun to voice his dissatisfaction with some policies of the current administration.

His comments reflect a growing discontent among citizens who feel the government has not adequately addressed their economic struggles.

He stated, “Without sounding immodest, I have to say that the people who will rescue this country from its self-inflicted pains and tears have not yet been born.” This statement underscores the depth of the challenges Nigeria faces and the urgent need for effective leadership.

The rising cost of living is a pressing issue for many Nigerians, with the prices of essential goods continuing to climb. Families are feeling the pinch, and many are struggling to put food on the table.

The situation has led to widespread frustration, as citizens wonder why the government is not doing more to alleviate their hardships.

Igbokwe’s comments have resonated with many Nigerians, who share his concerns about the current economic climate. There is a growing sentiment that new leadership is needed to bring about meaningful change and improve the living conditions of ordinary citizens.

As food prices continue to rise and economic difficulties persist, the call for a fresh approach to governance becomes increasingly urgent.

In light of these challenges, Igbokwe’s words serve as a rallying cry for those who believe that Nigeria must find new and effective leaders to guide the nation through these turbulent times.

The hope is that future leaders will emerge who can address the deep-rooted issues facing the country and restore confidence among its citizens. With the stakes higher than ever, many are left wondering who will step up to meet these critical challenges.
