Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State has called on Nigerians to use the Christmas season to pray for the success of President Bola Tinubu’s administration in transforming the nation towards prosperity. The appeal was made in a statement issued on Tuesday by Ismaila Uba-Misilli, the Director-General of Press Affairs at Gombe Government House.
Yahaya emphasized that the festive season is an opportunity for Christian faithful to intercede for Nigeria’s progress, especially as the government implements policies aimed at economic recovery and national resilience. He highlighted the importance of remaining hopeful and supportive of the administration’s “Renewed Hope Agenda.”
“These are undeniably challenging times, but I urge everyone to remain optimistic and committed to the vision of a better Nigeria,” the governor stated. “Together, we can overcome our difficulties and build a prosperous nation for all.”
Governor Yahaya also encouraged Christians to embrace the core values of Christmas, including love, peace, and selflessness, while promoting unity and cooperation among citizens. He stressed the importance of reflecting on the spiritual essence of the season to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and community.
Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to sustainable development and improved living standards, Yahaya urged residents to celebrate responsibly and with consideration for others. He wished all Christians a joyous Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
