Vice President Kashim Shettima has voiced his confidence in Nigeria’s bright future, emphasizing the Federal Government’s steadfast dedication to addressing the nation’s critical challenges. In a Christmas message, Shettima highlighted the administration’s focus on national security, economic transformation, and citizens’ welfare as priorities for the coming year.
“As we approach a new year, President Tinubu’s administration remains resolute in its efforts to uplift the lives of all Nigerians,” Shettima assured. He acknowledged the pressing economic and security challenges, reaffirming the government’s commitment to decisive actions aimed at transformation and stability.
Shettima praised Nigeria’s diversity as a source of strength, urging citizens to use the festive period to reinforce unity and foster harmony across all regions and faiths. “Our diversity is our strength, and this season is an opportunity to renew the bonds that unite us as one nation,” he said.
The Vice President also commended the vigilance of Nigeria’s security forces, ensuring heightened measures during the holiday period to guarantee safety. He encouraged citizens, particularly travellers, to remain cautious while appreciating the dedication of security personnel working tirelessly to safeguard the nation.
