The Governor of Kogi State, Usman Ododo, has promised to continue to deliver more impactful projects across the state, while he stressed that the new year will also enhance opportunities for youths.

The governor gave the assurance in a New Year message to residents on Wednesday.

In his New Year message, the governor said, “My dear people of Kogi State, as we stand on the threshold of a New Year, I extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to each and every one of you. The dawn of 2025 is not just another page in the calendar; it is a renewed opportunity for us to deepen our collective resolve to build a Kogi State that is stronger, more united, and more prosperous.”

He noted that in 2024 his government took significant strides, alluding that their unwavering support, resilience, and contributions have been the foundation upon which his government has built our successes.

He continued, “As your Chief Servant, I am deeply committed to fostering a state where development, innovation, and inclusivity thrive.

“In the coming year, we will continue to focus on delivering impactful projects, enhancing opportunities for our youth, empowering our women, and ensuring every community feels the positive impact of governance. Together, we will tackle challenges with courage and determination, knowing that our unity is our greatest strength.”

He urged the people to step into 2025 with the ideals of renewed hope and shared purpose. While he prayed that the new year bring abundant blessings to homes, prosperity to our land, and continued progress for Kogi State, he urged residents to all remain steadfast in efforts to support one another and contribute to the growth of our beloved state.

“I also urge you all to remain rock-solid behind our dear President, His Excellency Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. His vision and bold initiatives will surely yield more fruits this year and the years ahead. Our president is a blessing to our nation at a time like this that will need a bold, courageous, creative, and forward-thinking leader.
