The Government has guaranteed of quickened completion of the Egbema Control Plant in Imo State.
Giving the confirmation at the end of the week amid a review visit to the control plant, Serve of Control, Chief Adebayo Adelabu too commended the State Representative, Trust Uzodinma for his commitment to collaborating with NDPHC in arranging to total the basic control framework ventures.
Went with the Overseeing Executive, Niger Delta Control Holding Company (NDPHC), Chief ChieduUgbo, the Serve lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for marking the 2023 Power Act, which permits states to take an interest within the power segment.
Adelabu moreover lauded Representative Uzodinma for his commitment to working with NDPHC to speed up the completion of the Egbema control plant and associated transmission ventures, which is able to make strides in power supply not as it were in Imo State but nationwide.
Moreover talking amid an assembly with the Serve within the Government House, Senator Uzodinma promised to collaborate with the Niger Delta Control Holding Company (NDPHC) to guarantee the completion of the plant in arrange to the progress power supply in the State.
The collaboration will guarantee the completion of the 378.3 MW Egbema Control Plant, in conjunction with the 330/33kV switchyard, the Omoku-Egbema-Owerri-Alaoji 330kV DC transmission lines ventures, and the Owerri transmission substation extension venture. The ventures are at different stages with the control plant at 70 per cent completion organized.
Imo State Government partners with NDPHC to improve power supply in the state, completing the Egbema Control Plant and transmission infrastructure to provide reliable electricity to homes and businesses.
