President Bola Tinubu on Monday hosted the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, at his residence in Lagos.
Gov Ademola Adeleke visited the president with his prominent businessman brother, Chief Adedeji Adeleke, and his son, Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido.
Although the purpose of the visit by the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governor remains unclear, speculations have been in the media for weeks of an expected defection by gov Ademola Adeleke to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Speculations of defection of the governor were heightened when David Adeleke, weeks ago visited president Tinubu in Aso Rock accompanied by his business associate and friends Pascal Okechukwu a.k.a Chief Priest and Ubi Franklin.
The Monday visit to president Tinubu by the governor, his brother uncle and nephew has resurrected the speculations of imminent defection to the APC.
