Nigerians Trapped in Israel-Iran War Cry for Help Amid Airstrikes

Nigerians trapped in Israel-Iran war have called for urgent help as both nations exchange deadly missile strikes nonstop.
Many of them have taken refuge inside underground bunkers, desperately awaiting government assistance to escape the escalating conflict.
According to residents, other countries have already started evacuation, while Nigeria’s response remains slow and uncoordinated at best.

The Federal Government claims it awaits border clearance before rescuing over 1,000 Nigerians trapped in Israel-Iran war zones.
Meanwhile, deaths from the ongoing hostilities have surpassed 260 people, including women, children, and senior Iranian commanders.
Tehran declared Israel’s airstrikes as a direct act of war, prompting heavy retaliation with more than 100 missiles.

Tel Aviv, where Nigeria’s embassy is located, was among the major targets of Iran’s June 13 missile barrage.
According to media reports, most Nigerians trapped in Israel-Iran war are living in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv cities.
Since the attacks began, they’ve remained in underground shelters, joining other foreigners in fear and uncertainty every day.

Ekene Abaka, a Nigerian in Tel Aviv, said he’s been in hiding for days and feels completely abandoned.
Another Nigerian in Jerusalem confirmed that embassy services have shut down, offering no support to struggling Nigerian residents.
He added that although several people died, no Nigerian fatalities have been reported yet in either of the cities.

The shutdown of economic, religious, and social activity in Israeli cities has worsened the living conditions for Nigerians.
As missiles fly overhead, Nigerians in Israel remain desperate, hoping for a swift response from their home government.
Many continue to speak out, urging Nigerian authorities to act quickly and provide safe evacuation from the conflict zones.
