National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) Darlington Okoye wanted. Mr Okoye who also goes by different alias such as Speed Darlington, Akpi, Irregular Speedometer, Scorpion King, is wanted for alleged rape, cyberbullying and cyberstalking.
The controversial singer, Mr Okoye–who goes by his popular stage name Speed Darlington–was last seen in a viral video on 27 May, where he bragged to have had sex with a 15-year old girl, who bled so bad he had to give her ₦2k to take care of herself, at a hotel in Onitsha.
As the video went viral, NAPTIP swung into action and invited him to appear at their office on May 30th for questioning.
However, Mr Okoye failed to honor NAPTIP’s invitation over his claims of sex with a 15-year old girl.
He later released a follow-up video where he apologised and claimed it was just “cruise” to promote his new song. And he won’t be available until June 27th (today). Again, he failed to show up at NAPTIP.
Meanwhile, Mr Okoye is currently in the United States (US). He disclosed this via a post on his Instagram social media handle.
His lawyer Barrister Deji Adeyanju is yet to react to the wanted declaration by NAPTIP.
Recall, this is not the first time he is trending for paedophilia. In 2022, Mr Okoye’s neighbor called him out for flirting with her 16yr old house help.
