APC chieftain in Osun State, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has warned against ADC reckless statements that incite instability.
He issued the warning on Sunday, calling out African Democratic Coalition (ADC) leaders for statements capable of destabilising Nigeria.
Oyintiloye described the ADC reckless statements as provocative rhetoric driven by desperation for power ahead of the 2027 elections.
He strongly condemned former Minister Rotimi Amaechi’s alleged call for violent protests to unseat the current administration.
According to Oyintiloye, Nigeria needs national unity and leadership focused on development, not toxic political posturing.
He emphasised that ADC reckless statements could inflame division and distract citizens from the country’s progress and recovery.
“We must prioritise peace, stability, and democratic gains instead of inciting tension through irresponsible power-seeking agendas,” he stated.
Oyintiloye warned that such rhetoric weakens trust in democratic institutions and fuels unnecessary political anxiety among Nigerians.
He urged opposition leaders to embrace patriotic conduct and place national interest above political ambition or party competition.
He also encouraged Nigerians to reject opposition voices that sow confusion or disrupt peace under the guise of democracy.
Oyintiloye insisted that unity and responsible political discourse are necessary to safeguard the nation from internal collapse.
The former lawmaker reaffirmed APC’s commitment to constitutional governance, citizen welfare, and democratic sustainability.
He further described early campaign agitation as noise that distracts from real governance and productive national dialogue.
He called on political actors to focus their energy on supporting the current government’s development and economic plans.
Oyintiloye concluded that Nigeria needs bold, peace-driven leaders—not opportunists who exploit chaos for political advantage.
