The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), has stated that the incident in which Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, otherwise called KI De Ultimate, tried to stop a plane from taxiing, is considered an act of “terrorism in most climes.”
NCAA spokesman, Mike Achimugu, disclosed this on Sunday during an interview on Arise TV.
Achimugu criticised K1 for trying to block a ValueJet aircraft from taking off last Tuesday in Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
“Your first responsibility at the airport is to respect and obey instructions from the officials on ground. The passenger (KI De Ultimate) has not done that,” Achimugu said.
“What he (KI De Ultimate) did in most climes is considered terrorism. You cannot stop an aircraft from taking off. There is nothing that excuses it.”
According to Achimugu, in the course of the ongoing investigations, more questions will be answered.
In the meantime, K1 De Ultimate has been put on a no-fly list, as announced by the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo.
