President Bola Tinubu has said men and women of the military deserve the support and encouragement of all Nigerians for their sacrifice to the nation.
The president stated this on Wednesday at the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE), conference in Abuja.
While commending their sacrifices to the nation, Tinubu said the military and other security agencies were working tirelessly and making significant sacrifices to keep Nigerians safe.
He raised important questions about the significant role they play by risking their lives to protect the citizens.
“Yes, we are challenged by terrorism, banditry, and others. We recognise that.
“Are we doing something about it? Are we inspiring the armed forces? Are we encouraging them to fight?
“They put their lives on the line to defend the sovereignty of this country. It is our responsibility,” he said.
