The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, has revealed that the ruling party has a strong youth presence.
Yilwatda said that 49.8 percent of APC members are youths between the ages of 18 and 35.
Speaking on TVC Sunday Politics, Yilwatda said most of the youths are in the APC.
“About 49.8% of our members, as of yesterday, are between the ages of 18 and 35.
“Our party is youthful, unlike before when we were deceived into thinking that most of the youths were with certain individuals.
“Now, we have proven to the world that most of the youths are with the APC,” he said.
He also said the party is already approaching 12 million members in its current e-registration drive, with a target of 20 million members.
