During the assessment visit, the Caretaker Chairman of Lokoja Local Government exemplified leadership and compassion by donating a substantial sum of One Million naira to the victims. The Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, represented by the Assembly Member for Lokoja 1, Hon. Tijanni Ebayo, extended heartfelt condolences to the victims of the fire disaster.
