Lech Poznań, the esteemed eight-time champions of Poland, have officially welcomed Bryan Fiabema, a promising forward who previously honed his skills in Chelsea’s youth academy. The Norwegian youth international, of Nigerian heritage, joins the Polish club after a brief stint at Real Sociedad. Fiabema has committed to a substantial three-year contract with Lech Poznań, which includes a provision for a potential 12-month extension, granting the club flexibility and continuity in their lineup.

Fiabema’s journey to Poznań began with his arrival in the city late on a Monday evening. The following day, he underwent a series of thorough medical evaluations, spanning until Wednesday, with his final test scheduled for 1 p.m. By 3:30 p.m. on that same day, Fiabema had sealed his commitment to Lech Poznań by signing the contract, formally solidifying his role within the team.
During the 2023-2024 season, Fiabema showcased his talent at Real Sociedad B, contributing five goals across 30 appearances.

Reflecting on his decision to join Lech Poznań, Fiabema expressed enthusiasm about the club’s ambitions and potential for European competition. “I had options from various Spanish clubs recently,” he shared. “However, after speaking with Kristoffer Velde, who had positive things to say about Lech, I felt drawn to this opportunity in Poland. Lech is a major club with consistent European aspirations, and I believe it’s the right environment for me to progress in my career.”
As he prepares for the upcoming season, Fiabema has chosen to don the number 19 jersey for Lech Poznań. At just 21 years old, his previous footballing experiences include stints at Forest Green Rovers, Rosenborg, and Tromso, underscoring his versatility and international pedigree in the sport.
Bryan Fiabema’s move to Lech Poznań marks a significant step forward in his burgeoning career, blending his rich footballing background with the promising prospects offered by one of Poland’s most storied clubs.
