Boko Haram: Yobe Police Issue Alert on Potential Attacks to Disrupt August EndBadGovernance Protest

The Yobe State Police Command has issued a warning about a potential threat to the upcoming #EndBadGovernance protest scheduled for August. According to the command’s spokesperson, DSP Dungus Abdulkarim, there are indications that Boko Haram insurgents are planning to infiltrate the protest. This information comes from recent intelligence reports that suggest foreign mercenaries might be employed to incite violence and cause property damage during the demonstration.

In his statement on Saturday, Abdulkarim urged all prospective protesters to exercise heightened caution.
