Four Super Eagles players are walking a disciplinary tightrope ahead of the game against Uganda.

They are Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Semi Ajayi, and goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali.

These four are all just one yellow card away from being suspended from playing the Round of sixteen game.

Osimhen, who is the team’s key striker, could miss the knockout stage if he gets booked a yellow card on Tuesday.

This means Eric Chelle could field Paul Onuachu against Uganda instead of risking his key striker.

Ademola Lookman, who has scored in both of Nigeria’s AFCON matches so far, is another player who could be suspended.

Since Semi Ajayi also has the risk of being suspended, the coach might decide to play Zaidu Sanusi as a full-back.

Stanley Nwabali was yellow carded for his delay tactics against Tunisia and another one today would see him suspended for the knockout game.

Francis Uzoho is the first player ready to replace him if needed.

A win for the Super Eagles on Tuesday will secure all nine points from the group stage for Eric Chelle’s side.

Nigeria has already beaten Tanzania 2-1 and Tunisia 3-2 in the other fixtures securing a passage to the Round of sixteen.
