The Bauchi State Police Command has apprehended three suspects linked to the theft of a motorcycle in Tenti Babba Village, Plateau State. According to the Command’s spokesperson, Superintendent Ahmed Wakil, the suspects—Yakubu Aminu, Abdul Lawal, and Buhari Abdullahi—were tracked and arrested by officers from the Toro Divisional Police Headquarters.
The theft was reported on December 16, 2024, by Haruna Maguwa, the motorcycle owner. Maguwa disclosed that his Boxer motorcycle had been stolen from his residence. Promptly responding to the report, the police launched an investigation, which led to the swift identification and arrest of the suspects in Magama Gumau Town.
The police statement confirmed that the stolen motorcycle was recovered during the operation. Superintendent Wakil assured that after thorough investigations, the suspects would be charged to court to face the full weight of the law.
Wakil commended the officers for their swift response and urged residents to report suspicious activities to aid the fight against crime.
