BREAKING NEWS. SUPREME COURT AFFIRMS GOV. DIRI’S ELECTION AS BAYELSA STATE GOVERNOR

On Friday, the Supreme Court upheld the re-election of Duoye Diri, the Governor of Bayelsa State, representing the Peoples Democratic Party. The five-member panel reached a unanimous decision to reject the appeal filed by Timipre Sylva, the candidate from the All Progressives Congress, who contested the results of the election held on November 11, 2023.
