Chiamaka Nnadozie joins Brighton and Hove Albion Women FC following the expiration of her contract with Paris FC.
The club officially announced that Chiamaka Nnadozie joins Brighton on July 1 after completing her time with the French side.
Brighton’s head coach, Dario Vidosic, praised Nnadozie’s skills and leadership as key assets for the upcoming Women’s Super League season.
“She’s a talented, commanding goalkeeper who will add consistency and stability to our defence,” Vidosic said on Friday afternoon.
“She’s competed at the highest level, gaining experience in major tournaments, including the UEFA Champions League and World Cup.”
The coach said Chiamaka Nnadozie joins Brighton with the ability to bring depth and motivation to their ambitious squad.
Nnadozie, 24, previously joined Paris FC from Rivers Angels in Nigeria during the January transfer window of the 2020 season.
During her successful stint in France, she made 118 appearances and emerged as a leader both on and off the pitch.
One of her finest moments came during the 2025 Coupe de France Féminine final, where she impressed fans and critics alike.
Chiamaka Nnadozie joins Brighton after being named CAF’s Goalkeeper of the Year for her stellar performances in international competitions.
She also played a pivotal role in Nigeria’s campaign at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, drawing global recognition.

Nnadozie becomes one of the few Nigerian women footballers to join the prestigious English Women’s Super League (WSL) side.
