United States lawmaker representing Virginia’s Second District in the Congress, Rep Riley M. Moore has maintained that there is an ongoing genocide against Christians in Nigeria.
In an interview he posted on his official X handle on Wednesday morning, Moore who was among the congressional delegation that recently came to Nigeria on fact-finding mission, said Christians are losing their lives daily in Nigeria.
He said the delegation is currently compiling reports and will brief President Donald Trump soon.
“We’re compiling reports that we are going to present to President Trump very soon. Its going to be on recommendation and how to move on.
“Let me make something very clear, our brothers and sisters are losing their lives in Nigeria due to profession of their faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
“They’re being murdered and slaughtered everyday in Nigeria” he said.
