Ben Murray-Bruce has made a strong World War III prediction, warning that global conflict is now nearly inevitable.
Speaking to Global Affairs Expert Dane Waters, he blamed rising violence and reckless leaders for this looming catastrophe.
According to him, the spread of nuclear weapons and military tensions make a third world war increasingly difficult to avoid.
He argued that today’s leaders are dangerously impulsive, which makes the World War III prediction more credible than ever.
However, he believes Africa—particularly Nigeria—will be shielded from the devastating effects of this global war.
Murray-Bruce explained that Nigeria has no nuclear ambitions, no territorial disputes, and maintains peaceful diplomatic relations regionally.
He confidently declared that while the world burns, Nigeria would remain safe and possibly welcome displaced foreign populations.
According to him, Nigerians will host refugees humanely, providing visas to Americans, Israelis, and Iranians fleeing war zones.
He added that Nigeria will not treat these visitors as unwanted immigrants, but as respected guests of the nation.
The World War III prediction comes as Iran-Israel tensions escalate, raising fears about the fragility of global peace today.
Murray-Bruce linked the crisis to historical trends, comparing modern-day instability with events in 1917, 1939, and 1945.
He blamed the situation on “crazy people” in power, saying wars are usually started by leaders, not regular citizens.
He also warned that easy access to weapons globally is fuelling unnecessary violence and reckless military decisions.
According to the former senator, unless voters reject dangerous leadership, the world will repeat its darkest historical mistakes again.
He concluded that peace requires sanity in politics, and until then, conflict will remain a constant global threat.
