Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has made it clear he will not stand in Rodri’s way if he wants to leave the Premier League.
During the March international break, Rodri spoke about playing for Real Madrid in future.
Guardiola has now said any player who is not happy at the Etihad will be allowed to leave.
“If one player is not happy, they have to leave, continue the same.
“Always I think is he’s happy and hopefully he can be happy.
“But if he’s not happy, just knock on the door of the sporting director, accept an offer, according to his incredible, incredible quality, and after that it all belongs to the club and himself,” he said.
