Expelled Members Lack Moral, Constitutional Rights to Represent us – AA to INEC
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on WhatsappShare on EmailShare on Telegram

The Action Alliance (AA) has issued a strong criticism of Kenneth Udeze, accusing him of misrepresenting the party and misleading the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) regarding internal party matters. This statement, released by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Comrade Olu Omotoso, on Wednesday, addresses concerns about Udeze’s recent activities and public statements.

According to the statement, Kenneth Udeze was suspended from the AA and later expelled. As a result, the party argues that Udeze no longer has the moral or constitutional authority to act on behalf of or represent the party.

The leadership of the AA is particularly concerned about why INEC has continued to recognize Udeze despite his expulsion, while failing to officially acknowledge Adekunle Rufai Omoaje as the legitimate national chairman of the party. Omoaje was elected as chairman during the party’s recent national convention held in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The Action Alliance asserts that the recognition of Udeze by INEC is a significant error.

They claim that INEC was provided with all relevant court judgments confirming Udeze’s expulsion. The party emphasizes that these judgments come from high courts, including the Federal High Court in Abeokuta, the Abuja division of the Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court, all of which have upheld Udeze’s expulsion from the party. The AA views INEC’s continued recognition of Udeze as a form of contempt for these court rulings.

In addition, the AA responded to a recent apology issued by Udeze to INEC on behalf of the party. The Action Alliance dismissed Udeze’s apology as baseless, stating that he no longer holds any position within the party and has no right to make statements on its behalf. The party clarified that Udeze’s expulsion has been legally affirmed by various courts, and all relevant documents were submitted to INEC to support this.

The Action Alliance’s statement underscores the party’s frustration with INEC’s handling of the situation. The party is calling for INEC to correct its records and recognize the legitimate leadership of Adekunle Rufai Omoaje. They emphasize that Udeze’s actions and statements do not represent the views or decisions of the Action Alliance and reiterate their commitment to upholding the legal and constitutional authority of their elected leaders.

Overall, the Action Alliance aims to address these discrepancies and ensure that the party’s true leadership is recognized and respected by both INEC and the public. They stress that their legal victories affirming Udeze’s expulsion should be acknowledged and adhered to, reflecting the party’s dedication to proper governance and respect for legal judgments.
