The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has admonished Nigerians to exercise patience with the administration of President Bola Tinubu for the economic reforms he has embarked upon which have brought discomfort to many, assuring that by next year’s Christmas the economy would have stabilised better.
Ganduje said this in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration.
The president announced two important policies upon taking office in 2023: the elimination of petrol subsidies and the unification of the exchange rate. Since then, these measures have caused the country’s inflation to skyrocket, making it difficult for many Nigerian families to eke a living.
While urging greater patience, the former governor of Kano State pointed out that Tinubu’s reforms are already starting to show dividends.
He promised that the economy will be more stable by Christmas of the following year, adding that the government’s efforts to keep the nation safe are paying off, as there are now a lot fewer occurrences of kidnapping and banditry.

He further emphasized the need for selflessness, generosity, and care for the less privileged, especially during this season of giving.
