God Has Chosen Davido to be  President of Nigeria – South Africa Based Nigerian Pastor John Anosike Prophesies

A controversial Video of Nigerian, South African-based pastor John Anosike  has emerged where he prophesied that popular music artist David Adeleke, popularly called Davido, would become Nigeria’s President.

In a very short clip showing where the pastor was addressing his congregation, he pointed out that even though the music artist is unaware of his role in the future, God has plans to use him to unite the Nation as the country’s President.

The pastor said, “God has put an oil on his head; he calls him my servant. God said, for he is my servant, for he shall be President of Nigeria, and he shall unite the country.”

Although the video did not detail the time when the prophecy would be fulfilled, much speculation have followed the pastor’s prophecy, as many alleged that the pastor was being “fake”.

Even though the music sensation have not reacted to this video, he recently accompanied his billionaire father, Chief Adedeji Adeleke, and his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, on a courtesy visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in what many largely speculated was a subtle introduction of the music star to the corridors of power.

Even though both sides have insisted that the meeting with the President and the First Lady, Remi Tinubu, was merely for formalities, it remained a topic of discussion, particularly as Governor Adeleke was seeking re-election and there are rumours of his purported decamp to the ruling All Progressive Congress.

The presence of Governor Adeleke, an elected PDP governor, at a private meeting with the APC leader has fuelled rumours of a possible defection ahead of the 2026 Osun gubernatorial elections. Observers believe the visit could signal Adeleke’s interest in aligning with the ruling party to strengthen his re-election prospects. His introduction as an APC loyalist, though likely tongue-in-cheek by Davido, has added fuel to this narrative.

Nonetheless, Governor Adeleke has moved quickly to dispel the speculations. In a public statement released shortly after the visit, he reaffirmed his loyalty to the PDP, insisting that his visit to President Tinubu was strictly personal and not politically motivated. “There are deep familial and national ties at play,” a spokesperson for the Governor Adeleke stated. “This is not about party allegiance—it’s about respect and engagement.”
