Tinubu Labels El-Rufai’s Kaduna Administration as “Toxic”
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on WhatsappShare on EmailShare on Telegram

President Bola Tinubu hails Uba Sani for transforming Kaduna from what he described as El-Rufai’s “toxic” administration.
Speaking during the commissioning of two key facilities, Tinubu hailed Uba Sani’s leadership and praised his remarkable developmental strides.
Tinubu described Uba Sani as a governor who brought Kaduna back to life after years of poor governance.

He said, “Uba Sani has changed a toxic, uncontrollable atmosphere into a state of peace, progress, and real development.”
Tinubu hails Uba Sani directly, saying the governor’s vision contrasts sharply with the past administration’s destructive tendencies.
He emphasized that under Uba Sani, Kaduna is finally enjoying the peace and growth it had long been denied.
This comment came just months after El-Rufai left the All Progressives Congress to join the opposition Social Democratic Party.
El-Rufai has since vowed to form a political coalition capable of defeating Tinubu in the 2027 general election.

Tinubu political differences with El Rufai gives rise to Uba Sani’s hail

In March, El-Rufai publicly regretted supporting Tinubu, calling his presidency a failure and a national embarrassment.
He also referenced Tinubu’s controversial past, including alleged certificate forgeries and a Chicago civil forfeiture scandal.
El-Rufai’s fallout with Tinubu deepened after the Senate rejected his ministerial nomination, allegedly at Tinubu’s instruction.
Observers believe Tinubu’s recent remarks are a direct jab at El-Rufai’s attempts to discredit and undermine his government.
With clear intent, Tinubu praises Uba Sani again, highlighting his commitment to reversing the negative legacy he inherited.

Supporters of Uba Sani believe Tinubu’s endorsement will strengthen his credibility and support base across northern Nigeria.
By aligning with Uba Sani, Tinubu aims to solidify loyalty within the APC ahead of the 2027 general election.
Political analysts note the rift between Tinubu and El-Rufai could reshape internal party politics in the coming months.
The statement where Tinubu praises Uba Sani also underscores the President’s strategic distancing from former allies turned critics.
