Human Rights Group Expresses Shock, Mourns First Lady of Akwa Ibom

The Center for Human Rights and Accountability Network (CHRAN) has expressed deep sadness over the sudden passing of Pastor Patience Umo Eno. She was the beloved wife of the Governor and First Lady of Akwa Ibom State.

Her unexpected demise has left a profound impact on the community. It has prompted an outpouring of condolences from various organizations and citizens alike.

In a heartfelt statement signed by the Center’s Director, Otuekong Isong, CHRAN conveyed its sympathies to Governor Umo Eno, the state government, and the people of Akwa Ibom State.

“We are deeply shocked by the news of her passing. We extend our condolences to the governor and all those affected by this tragic loss,” the statement read. The organization urged everyone to find solace in the remarkable legacy of empathy and compassion that Pastor Patience Umo Eno left behind.

During her time as First Lady, Pastor Patience Umo Eno was known for her commitment to various charitable initiatives and community projects. Her brief reign was marked by a focus on empowering women and children. She also addressed issues related to health and education.

CHRAN highlighted how her efforts significantly impacted many lives in the state. She provided support and inspiration during challenging times.

The organization praised her dedication and service, stating, “The late Lady Eno exuded commitment and passion during her time in office. In addition to offering condolences, CHRAN prayed for the soul of the departed first lady. They asked Almighty God to receive her with open arms. They expressed hope that God would provide comfort and strength to Governor Umo Eno, his family, and the entire Akwa Ibom community.
