Traditional leaders in Ibadanland, including Mogajis, Baales, and chiefs, have applauded Governor Ademola Adeleke for approving Prince Haastrup Adesuyi as the Owa Obokun of Ijesa-elect. In a statement issued by Mogaji Nurudeen Akinade, Coordinator of the Ibadan Compounds Peace Initiatives (ICPI), the chiefs hailed the decision as a milestone for the Ijesa community and its rich traditional heritage.
