The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has assured Nigerians it will eradicate hunger and slash fuel prices if elected.
Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the party’s interim National Publicity Secretary, made the statement Tuesday during a press interview in Ilorin.
He declared that ADC to eradicate hunger is more than a promise—it’s the party’s core mission heading into 2027.
Abdullahi said the suffering in Nigeria has reached a tipping point, with millions enduring hunger and economic hardship daily.
He stressed that Nigerians no longer want the APC government, which has worsened their living conditions through harmful policies.
According to him, “Anyone going hungry knows APC has failed, and it’s time to choose a real alternative.”
He insisted ADC was born out of necessity, to challenge a system that has pushed Nigerians into widespread poverty and despair.
Citing rising food costs, fuel hikes, and joblessness, Abdullahi said Nigerians already know they are suffering without needing reminders.
He explained that what remains is to convince them that ADC to eradicate hunger is a practical, achievable goal.
He also highlighted fuel prices as a major concern, saying business owners can no longer make profits or survive.
“If elected, we will immediately work to reduce fuel prices and revive small-scale businesses hit hard by inflation,” he said.
Abdullahi noted the current administration deliberately weakened other opposition parties, fearing a united front in the 2027 elections.
He said ADC emerged from this political sabotage, uniting leaders from PDP, NNPP, SDP, and LP with one purpose—rescue Nigeria.
He added that insecurity has reached new heights, even preventing him from visiting his own farm due to rising kidnappings.
Abdullahi concluded that ADC to eradicate hunger isn’t a slogan—it’s a lived commitment to restore dignity and stability nationwide.
Finally, Abdullahi called on Nigerians to support ADC’s mission to rebuild the country and restore hope before it’s too late.
