On Monday, Kano State Commissioner of Police, CP Salman Garba, provided an update on the situation, revealing that the suspects had been moved to Abuja for a more thorough investigation. The transfer to the Force Headquarters is part of an effort to ensure a detailed and impartial investigation into their activities.
CP Garba addressed the media at a press conference in Kano, where he explained that the police had been acting on directives from the Inspector General of Police (IGP).
