It’s been several months since Manchester United’s summer transfer window, which saw 14 players leave the club on permanent deals.
From high-profile departures like Mason Greenwood and Raphael Varane to young prospects like Charlie McNeill and
Maxi Oyedele, we take a look at where these former Red Devils are now and how they’re faring.
One of the most notable exits was Mason Greenwood, who joined Marseille after a tumultuous spell at United.
Greenwood made a strong start to life in France, scoring 15 goals in Ligue 1, but has recently been dropped from the
starting lineup amid reports of a fallout with manager Roberto De Zerbi.
Another player who has struggled to find his footing is Omari Forson, who joined Monza in the summer. Forson has made just one start for the Serie A strugglers and has spent most of his time on the bench.
In contrast, Scott McTominay has been a revelation at Napoli, contributing seven goals and four assists in all
competitions. McTominay has thrived under the management of Antonio Conte and has been a key player in Napoli’s title challenge.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka has also been impressive at West Ham, making 27 starts in the Premier League and establishing
himself as a key player for the Hammers.

Raphael Varane, on the other hand, has been forced into retirement due to a serious knee injury. Varane signed an
initial two-year deal with Como but suffered the injury just 23 minutes into his debut.
Donny van de Beek has found a new lease on life at Girona, making 31 appearances for the Spanish side and scoring in the Champions League.
Facundo Pellistri has also been enjoying his time at Panathinaikos, establishing himself as a key player for the Greek
side before picking up a hamstring injury.
Willy Kambwala has struggled with injuries again since joining Villarreal, but Shola Shoretire has settled nicely into life at PAOK, helping the Greek side defend their title.
