The troops, supported by Hybrid Forces and DSS operatives, eliminated an Islamic State West Africa Province insurgent on site.

Meanwhile, 26 ISWAP family members—including women and children—voluntarily surrendered in Gwoza, Damboa, and Bama communities.
One insurgent confessed to fleeing an ISWAP training base due to internal factional conflict and extreme psychological pressure.

Also in Borno, troops from the 117 Task Force Battalion successfully disarmed multiple improvised explosive devices planted in Chibok.

In Niger State, troops followed up an earlier airstrike with a targeted ground sweep through Awallah Village in Mariga District.
They recovered 95 cows, 37 calves, and 12 sheep previously rustled by armed groups fleeing the airstrike site.

Troops also maintained momentum in the South, arresting seven individuals connected to violent crimes and extremism.
