Nigerian attacker Boniface begins rehabilitation after successful knee injury

Victor Boniface has started rehabilitation after undergoing a successful knee surgery.

Boniface went under surgery in Innsbruck, Austria, on Saturday.

The Nigeria international has already been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

The 25-year-old shared a video on the social media showing him working with a physiotherapist.

Boniface is on loan at Werder Bremen from Bayer Leverkusen.

He registered two assists in 11 league appearances for Bremen before his injury.
