Portuguese international and Paris Saint Germain (PSG) left back, Nuno Mendes put up excellent performance in the Nations league final on Sunday. Having won the Champions league with PSG, Mendes once again has proven why he is a brilliant left back and European champion.
Mendes played 10 matches at the nations league, and netted a goal in the final. He won Player of the Match, amidst greats like Christiano Ronaldo, and a Spanish super-packed team including wonderkid Lamine Yamal.
This attest to the 22year old left-back’s quality as a Defender. In the Champions League, he played 16 matches, recorded 4 goals and 1 assist which boosted PSG’s chances in the build-up to winning the trophy.
The talented left-back has proven not only why he is a European champion but a promising future in his career.
