The Chairman of the South-West Governors’ Forum, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has led a condolence visit to Katsina State
Governor, Dikko Radda, over the demise of his mother, Hajiya Safara’u Baribari.
Governor Abiodun, who was represented by his deputy, Noimot Salako-Oyedele, conveyed his heartfelt condolences to
Governor Radda and the people of Katsina State.
Salako-Oyedele emphasized the universal nature of grief and the importance of celebrating a life well-lived. She
described the late Hajiya Safara’u as a woman who left behind a legacy that would endure in her family and society.
The Ogun State deputy governor prayed that Almighty Allah would accept the late Hajiya Safara’u’s righteous deeds,
forgive her shortcomings, and grant her Al-Jannatul Firdaus.
Salako-Oyedele also commended the beauty of Katsina State and the exceptional hospitality of its people, even in moments of profound sorrow.

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission, Hajiya Aisha Rimi, who was part of the
delegation, offered special prayers for the late Hajiya Safara’u and extended heartfelt condolences to Governor Radda.
Speaking on behalf of the Katsina State Government, Deputy Governor Faruk Jobe, thanked the Ogun State delegation
for their visit and condolences.
Jobe described the visit as a great comfort to the people of Katsina State, adding that the prayers and condolences
from the government and people of Ogun State were deeply appreciated.
