Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has been commended by the Trade Union Congress (TUC) and Joint Negotiation Committee (JNC) for his commitment to workers’ welfare, highlighted by the approval of a Christmas bonus for the state workforce.
In letters of appreciation, the unions described the gesture as a reflection of the governor’s compassionate leadership. TUC Chairman, Comrade Akeem Lasisi, noted that the bonus would ease the economic challenges faced by workers, calling it a timely intervention during the festive season.
“This act reinforces the administration’s reputation for positive change. It will alleviate the daily economic hardships of our workforce and motivate them to achieve even more for the state,” Lasisi stated. He emphasized the workers’ appreciation and pledged loyalty to the administration.
