Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has been commended by the Trade Union Congress (TUC) and Joint Negotiation Committee (JNC) for his commitment to workers’ welfare, highlighted by the approval of a Christmas bonus for the state workforce.
In letters of appreciation, the unions described the gesture as a reflection of the governor’s compassionate leadership. TUC Chairman, Comrade Akeem Lasisi, noted that the bonus would ease the economic challenges faced by workers, calling it a timely intervention during the festive season.
