Prior to the Edo State gubernatorial election, the All Progressives Congress has unveiled a roster comprising 256 members for the State Campaign Council, with the former governor of the state, Adams Oshiomhole, assuming the role of chairman.
The Acting Chairman, Jarrett Tenebe, disclosed in a statement issued on Wednesday in Benin City that Senator Matthew Urhoghide has been appointed as the Director-General of the Campaign Council, and Mr. Joe Ugheoke has been named as the Campaign Council Secretary.
Among other notable figures, Peter Akpatason has been designated as the Deputy Director-General in charge of Operations, and Mike Onolememen has been assigned as the Deputy Director-General handling Administration.
“Chief Lucky Imasuen, Odi Okogie, and Abu Lawani have been appointed as Coordinators for Edo South, Edo Central, and Edo North, respectively. Additionally, the Campaign Council features Mr. Bisi Idaomi as the Director of Administration, John Osakue as the Director of Operations, and Samson Osagie as the Director of Contacts,” Mr. Tenebe elaborated.
The statement further revealed that Dr. Ernest Umakhihe will take on the role of Director of Finance, Orobosa Omo Ojo has been named Director of Publicity, and Kazeem Afegbua will serve as the Director of Media Relations.
