Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, a former governor and current senator representing Sokoto West, has assured that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is actively re-strategizing to position itself for victory in the 2027 elections. Speaking in Sokoto on Monday, Tambuwal emphasized the party’s renewed political focus and determination.
Tambuwal’s statement came during the distribution of Ramadan food items to party leaders, members, families, and groups across the state. He urged those overseeing the distribution to carry out the exercise with sincerity and commitment to ensure it reaches the intended beneficiaries.
The senator reaffirmed the PDP’s strong connection with its members at all levels. He expressed confidence that the party is gaining more acceptance and rebuilding its base, particularly by engaging the youth ahead of 2027.
Tambuwal also commended PDP representatives and state assembly members for their dedication to their constituents. He described their efforts as crucial in strengthening the party’s support.
