A pro-Tinubu group has blasted Rauf Aregbesola over his involvement in an ADC coalition to unseat Tinubu.
The Yari Renaissance Movement for Tinubu 2027 described the ADC coalition to unseat Tinubu as dead on arrival.
Group chairman, Kabir Ali Danbaba, questioned Aregbesola’s integrity for plotting against his political benefactor, President Bola Tinubu.
Danbaba reminded Nigerians that Aregbesola rose politically due to Tinubu’s personal sacrifices and relentless strategic endorsements in Lagos.
“Tinubu made you a commissioner and governor—yet you return the favour with betrayal,” Danbaba said in strong condemnation.
The Yari group rejected the ADC coalition to unseat Tinubu, calling it political fiction led by recycled failures.
Danbaba warned that no alliance of “disgruntled politicians” could derail President Tinubu’s unstoppable 2027 political trajectory and national influence.
He added that the coalition was “moribund at birth” and driven by “envy and selfish political opportunism.”
The group accused Aregbesola of trampling on the goodwill of the very man who empowered his public service career.
They warned that even if Tinubu forgives, “his ‘eleda’ (maker) will not condone this betrayal against his legacy.”
According to Danbaba, “ADC—if it still exists—will only spectate as Tinubu defines 2027 and Nigeria’s leadership future.”
He urged Aregbesola to keep dreaming, reminding him that “posterity is watching and political reckoning is near.”
Observers say the fierce response signals deepening tension between loyalists of President Tinubu and opposition alliance leaders nationwide.
