Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has presented a proposed budget of N3.005 trillion for the year 2025 to the Lagos State House of Assembly. The budget tagged the “Budget of Sustainability,” aims to consolidate ongoing development efforts while addressing the critical needs of the state. Breaking down the budget, Governor Sanwo-Olu revealed that N1.7 trillion is earmarked for capital expenditures, while N1.2 trillion has been allocated for recurrent expenses.
