SNOOP DOG ANNOUNCED AS TORCHBEARER IN FRANCE 2024 OLYMPICS

American rapper, Snoop Dogg, has been selected as one of the torchbearers who will carry the Olympic flame in the final leg leading up to the opening ceremony of the Paris Games this Friday. The Paris 2024 Olympics is scheduled to take place in France, with the official opening ceremony set for July 26 and the event running till August 11. Snoop Dogg, aged 52, confirmed his participation as a torchbearer through a post on his Instagram page.
The renowned Rapper will carry the Olympic flame through the suburb of Saint-Denis, located north of Paris, which is also home to the Stade de France Olympic Stadium and the Olympic Village. Snoop Dogg will be collaborating with NBCUniversal to provide coverage of the Olympics, offering regular reports and his distinctive perspective on the events unfolding in Paris.
In regards to his role as a correspondent, Snoop expressed his excitement for the Olympics, acknowledging it as a celebration of talent, commitment, and the pursuit of excellence. He emphasized his intention to infuse the coverage with his unique style, predicting that it will be an unparalleled Olympic experience.
