Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle has taken a drastic measure to ensure his team’s focus remains intact ahead of their crucial 2026 World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe. Chelle has barred journalists and visitors from the team’s camp, effective immediately.

The decision, announced in an official statement, is aimed at maintaining the team’s concentration and avoiding any potential distractions. Chelle is seeking to build on the team’s recent victory over Rwanda and secure another crucial win against Zimbabwe.

According to the statement, Sunday’s training session will be held behind closed doors, while Monday’s session will be briefly open to the media and the public for just 15 minutes. This limited access is aimed at allowing the team to prepare intensively for the upcoming match.

Chelle’s strategy is centered on ensuring the team’s maximum concentration and focus. By restricting access to the camp, he hopes to minimize distractions and keep the players’ minds on the task at hand.

The Super Eagles are determined to secure a win against Zimbabwe and strengthen their qualification bid for the 2026 World Cup. Chelle’s tactics are designed to give the team the best possible chance of achieving this goal.

While some may view the media blackout as an extreme measure, Chelle is confident that it will pay off in the long run. His primary concern is the team’s success, and he is willing to take unconventional steps to ensure it.

The Super Eagles’ camp has been abuzz with activity as the team prepares for the Zimbabwe match. Chelle’s decision to impose a media blackout has added an extra layer of intrigue to the team’s preparations.

As the match against Zimbabwe approaches, the Super Eagles are more determined than ever to secure a win. Chelle’s unorthodox tactics may just give them the edge they need to succeed.
