Before his Lagos trip, Tinubu made a major policy move in Abuja by presenting the 2025 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the National Assembly. The proposed budget includes a bold target to stabilise the exchange rate at N1,500 per US dollar, emphasising his administration’s commitment to economic recovery and stability.
The President’s Yuletide visit comes at a time of renewed optimism, as his government continues to implement reforms aimed at repositioning Nigeria for sustained development. The festive break offers Tinubu an opportunity to engage with Lagos residents and reflect on the progress made in his first year as president.
