President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, speaking at the APC Caucus meeting at the State House in Abuja, reiterated his strong confidence in the party’s leadership to drive Nigeria forward and contribute to Africa’s growth.
Tinubu emphasized his steadfast commitment to the Renewed Hope Manifesto, stressing that the progressive policies adopted by his administration are key to steering Nigeria toward a brighter future. He underscored that the country’s challenges—from economic recovery to enhanced security—can be overcome through unity and innovative governance.
The president painted an optimistic picture of Nigeria’s future, declaring that the “sunny side” of the country is on the horizon. He highlighted the importance of achieving food sovereignty, not merely food security, as a critical step in repositioning Nigeria as a powerhouse within Africa.
Addressing his critics, Tinubu dismissed baseless and gloomy claims as distractions from the substantial progress already underway. He stressed that his determination to deliver results remains unshaken despite unfounded assertions. “They may continue with their rhetoric, but we are focused on building a better future,” he stated confidently.
In a display of party unity, Tinubu commended APC National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje for the accolades earned in recent elections. He lauded the chairman’s leadership and the collective efforts of the working committee, noting that these successes are a testament to the party’s robust organizational strength. Additionally, Senator Abdulaziz Yari’s testimonial regarding significant improvements in security, particularly in Zamfara, further bolstered the narrative of progress.
Concluding his address, Tinubu appealed to all APC Caucus members to support his administration’s strategic repositioning. He called on the party to build on current successes and project an agenda that aligns with the hopes and aspirations of Nigerians.
