A horrific incident of domestic violence has shaken the community of Oke-Ira, Ilogbo Eremi in the Badagry area of
Lagos State, as a 38-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her husband.
The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of the suspect, who is currently being held for further
investigation. According to the Police spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, the incident occurred on Wednesday,
and detectives from Morogbo Division were swiftly deployed to the scene.
The team apprehended the suspect and recovered a kitchen knife stained with blood. The suspect has reportedly
confessed to committing the crime, and the police have launched a thorough investigation into the circumstances
surrounding the murder. The victim’s corpse has been deposited at the Badagry General Hospital morgue for preservation.
