Victor Osimhen, the highly sought-after Nigerian striker, is at the center of a fierce transfer battle. Several clubs in the Saudi Arabian Pro League have already expressed interest in securing the 26-year-old’s services this summer, with at least two major teams reportedly in talks with his representatives.
According to renowned transfer expert Nicolo Schira, these Saudi clubs are willing to activate the €75 million release clause in Osimhen’s contract with Napoli.
Despite this lucrative interest from the Middle East, Osimhen has made his intentions clear. The Super Eagles striker has his sights set on a move to the Premier League, with Manchester United reportedly his preferred destination.

Other Premier League clubs, including Arsenal and Chelsea, have also shown interest in the forward, who has been one of Europe’s most prolific strikers in recent seasons. Osimhen’s aspirations to play in England were previously underlined during his discussions with Juventus, where he expressed his ambition to join a Premier League club.
Currently on loan at Galatasaray, Osimhen has had a sensational season, scoring 33 goals (28 goals and 5 assists) in 32 appearances across all competitions. His standout performances have included a brace in Galatasaray’s 2-1 win against Fenerbahçe in the Turkish Cup quarter-final.
Osimhen, who is currently in Nigeria for a short break, has been focused on delivering success to Galatasaray, stating that his goal is to help the club secure the coveted fifth star by winning the Turkish Cup this season.
