Wema Bank is concluding the third season of its notable customer reward program, the 5 for 5 Promo, offering customers the chance to win N10 million.
The bank introduced this initiative in 2019 to appreciate its customers’ loyalty by rewarding them for their support. The grand finale of the promo is scheduled for Friday, May 31, 2024, in Lagos. Winners are selected through monthly draws based on set criteria.
In the first two seasons, 1,177 customers received cash rewards totaling N63.3 million, with 23 becoming millionaires. The promo has become a source of hope for many Nigerians and businesses.
Season 3 began in July 2023 with a larger N90 million cash prize. Monthly winners receive cash prizes ranging from N25,000 to N1,000,000.
Wema Bank’s Head of Brands & Marketing Communications, Mabel Adeteye, expressed gratitude to customers for their support over the 79 years of the bank’s existence.
To participate in the promo, customers need to fund their accounts with at least N5,000, carry out up to 5 transactions using specified channels, and maintain a minimum account balance.
NYSC members, business owners, students, and professionals have all won in the past draws, showcasing the promo’s inclusivity. There have been significant cash prizes disbursed, with N80 million already rewarded in Season 3.
Account holders need to fund their Wema/ALAT accounts and conduct transactions to qualify for the final draw.
